Date of constitution: November 2006 Technical information and/or Services: >> The Innovation Park is built within La Salle´s new Campus in Madrid, which will include: – 30.000 m2 in new buildings. – 15.000 m2 for the Innovation Park. >> Construction for the new building aims to be finished in 2001, and this will have: – Dedicated spaces for incubating new companies – Dedicated spaces for R&D departments and for projects from partners and clients – Auditorium, meeting rooms and show-rooms >> The Innovation Park is an environment that fosters and promotes interaction between the Administration, Universities and Businesses with the aim of generating ideas that are transformed into innovative products and service. It´s primary mission is to transfer and apply knowledge to meet market demands. >> The Park specializes in the Services Sector and is primarily focused on improving quality of life. Hence its full name, LA SALLE INNOVATION PARK OF SERVICES FOR PEOPLE. >> The Park has two main areas: Business Creation and Development, and Innovation. >> Innovation services facilitates the generation and exchange of knowledge to promote intercompany relationships (clients, competitors, providers, partnerships) and to helps access Administration aids, within an innovation process that is lead by the company within an ecosystem that permits interaction between University, the company and Administration. >> The Park´s current Knowledge Areas are in constant development and fully operational: Education, Health and Safety, Social Economy, Promotion of Personal Autonomy, Universal Design, International Cooperation, Energy, Facilities management, Prosumers and Security. >> Business Creation and Development aims to become the reference for entrepreneurs, companies and investors in efficiently creating innovative companies for the future. >> We operate like a Business Incubator, offering entrepreneurs services that range from business plan creation, education, role-plays, events and actions that offer the company visibility, support to find finance, special conditions with service providers and any other activity that may be of added value for the entrepreneur. >> Last, as a fundamental element to the development of innovative projects and entrepreneurs, the area has resources, agreements and professionals to work and interact with the financial community. In this sense, we have specific activities for potential investors and financial entities.
