Founded in 1999 as a spin-off from the Tecnical University of Madrid, Denodo has been named by research firm Forrester as a leading company in the market, along with industry giants such as IBM and Oracle.
Denodo is specialized in the real time extraction and integration of information for distributed systems, working with data derived from corporate sources (databases, spreadsheets, applications, file systems or any other non-structured information source) or the internet (partner data, supplier data, data from clients and competitors, and web information available about market news and data, regulations, assistance, opportunities, etc.). The result is to feed business processes with the integration of real time data.
The company’s domestic clients include such well-known names as BBVA, Telefónica, Vodafone, Jazztel and Gas Natural, while outside of Spain its client roster includes JP Morgan and California’s Center to Promote HealthCare Access. Denodo has offices in Palo Alto, Madrid and London.
The company expects 2012 revenues to reach €40 million. In order to continue innovating, Denodo reinvests 50% of income at its La Coruña R&D center, where it employs 14 researchers.
In the near term Denodo plans to open offices in New York and Chicago in order to cover the East Coast of the US, while working from its Spanish base to expand in Latin America.
