The company’s work in water management was chosen as the best out of a field of 600 participants at the International Water Association’s (IWA) World Water Congress & Exhibition, held last week in Lisbon, Portugal.
The award recognizes the effort that FCC Aqualia has made in various R&D projects toward managing the most vital of all public resources: water. Highlighted among the company’s areas of investigation is the sustainability of the complete water cycle.
The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is the most important gathering in the sector. This year the event represented an opportunity for the Spanish company to reinforce its position in Portugal in the area of management services for public water supplies.
FCC Aqualia is the water management division of FCC, one of Europe’s largest construction and public services groups.
