Summary:
The Oman Investment Fund (OIF) was established in 2006 in accordance with a Royal Decree of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman. OIF’s sole shareholder is the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and its governing body is the Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council (FAERC).
Strategy & Objectives:
The fund makes equity, private equity, and real estate investments globally. It is an evergreen investment vehicle.

Becton enters $160 million strategic partnership with Oman Investment Fund
“Becton Property Group (“Becton”) is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership with the Oman Investment Fund (“OmIF”) comprising:
1. A Retirement Alliance in which Becton and OmIF will each hold a 50 per cent interest and which will provide additional funding to Becton’s four completed retirement villages and three of its retirement development assets; and
2. A $3.1 million equity placement to OmIF representing a 9.9 per cent interest in Becton.”
