Pascal Vent – Market Analyst

Since January 2010, I have been part of the Black Capital team. Currently I am working in a part-time analyst position, while pursuing my Master of Science in International Management at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Before engaging in this great learning experience, I acquired several independent consulting projects, mainly focusing on the international expansion of fast-moving consumer goods into Europe. My passion for Consulting, however, has already started during my Bachelor studies at the University of Maastricht, during which a partner and I founded a for-profit student consultancy. After working in several industries and in companies ranging from family businesses to multi-nationals, I was excited to start working at Black Capital. I am very grateful for the opportunity to work for this top-notch consultancy and have already experienced a steep learning curve in the short time I have been working for Black Capital. With their specialization in technology transfer from the European to the Middle East markets, I was able to gain crucial insights into one of the currently fastest growing markets and to learn more about the business culture and their urge to transform their countries into knowledge-based economies. In the future, I hope to thrive in this challenging environment, in which people have a passion to create value on an international landscape.
