Remotte Glass is a device that’s as small and light as a house key. It enables users to remotely operate Google’s famous smart glasses, and it’s Made in Spain.

Remotte Glass is a tech gadget that promises to be the ideal companion for Google’s device next year. People may ask: Why do you need a remote control for Google Glass? The answer is that these smart glasses are designed to be operated by voice command and also have a touchpad on one side. However, these options can’t be used all the time.

The two Spanish inventors of this remote—both technology laymen—believe that there are times when speaking is not possible, which can make even simple functions like turning a page or opening an application complicated. Touching the pad on the side of the Glass is also uncomfortable. And in the dead of winter the last thing you want to do is take your hands out of your pockets and surf the internet by using the touchpad without gloves on. That’s why the need to develop a remote control was born.

Remotte is the first remote specifically designed for Google Glass. After several months of development work, the Spanish team has made using Google’s glasses faster, simpler and more intuitive.
