Spanish company Bq presented in Madrid four new mid-range and high-end smartphones with two features that distinguish them from the competition: low prices and 100% Spanish design.
The company Bq has launched its new line of Aquaris E smartphones which, for the first time, were completely designed in Spain. These new phones include four models with prices ranging from €129 to €299.
All four models are equipped like high-end smartphones. They are lightweight but still have a long battery life, and are also quite durable. The phones all have high resolution screens, Dolby sound and quality cameras with between 8 and 13 Mpx. To top it off they use the Android kitKat 4.4 operating system, include a slot for micro SD cards and dual micro SIM cards and have a battery with over 2,000 mAh.
The smallest of the phones, the Aquaris E4 and Aquaris E4.5, have 4” and 4.5” screens, respectively. They both use a Quad Core 1.3 Ghz processor, have 1 Gb of RAM and 8 Gb of storage memory. The Aquaris E5 is available in different configurations, with up to a 2 GHz Octa Core processor and 2 Gb of RAM. The E6 is the top of the range and can be considered the phablet of the Aquaris line.
Last year the company’s sales tripled. In hardly a year it has grown from a staff of 100 to over 700 employees.
