Date of constitution: 1999 Technical information and/or Services: >> TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme v. 1.0 is a business cluster consisting of two public foundations and eleven technology-based companies which seeks to establish itself as the forerunner of the Technology Park during the course of the works for the construction of the definitive site in the Rengle sector, located directly on the seafront. >> The global investment which has been made for the construction of the premises and adaptation of the space is 2,586,311 euros. The companies are established on a leasing basis for four years and the majority were selected by way of public tender in accordance with the requirements of the TecnoCampus Mataró-Maresme Foundation, the promoter of this initiative. >> The definitive site of the TCM, which is currently under construction and will be inaugurated in the third quarter of 2010, signifies a qualitative leap in the development strategy of the city and the region of Maresme. In the TCM Park, Mataró’s three tertiary institutes (Polytechnic Institute, Business School and Health Faculty) are integrated and share this space with R+D+icentres. The new Park, which also has a business incubator, encourages entrepreneurial spirit and concentration of talent, given that one of the fundamental axes of its activity consists of policies to support business creation, technology transfer and innovation. >> Total area: 46.940 m2. >> Area allowed for building: 20.920 m2. >> Innovation and services area: 4.000 m2. >> Mission: TRAIN+ CREATE+ INNOVATE+ CONNECT.
