Lupeon is promoting a technology that will revolutionize industry around the globe. It could be applied to automobile manufacturing or, in the case of healthcare, to produce prostheses.
The Spanish company Lupeon, founded by industrial engineers from Spain’s Universidad de Vigo, has developed 3D printing technology that could be used not only in the aerospace and space sectors, but also for important industries such as automobile manufacturing and healthcare. In the latter case, this technology could be employed to make prostheses.
In the aerospace and space industries, countries such as Germany and the United Kingdom are already manufacturing metal components with 3D printers, given that this cuts costs and improves production.
Customers deliver their 3D designs to Lupeon, which in turn prints them in order to convert the designs into physical objects made from plastic, polymers, metals, etc. The company can make models of prototypes, perform scanning services and build small production runs of the prototype for the new product. The finished goods are then sent to the clients by mail.
Another business of the firm is distribution and sale of various international brands of 3D printers and parts.
