The first edition of TNT Japan will take place from January 29th-31st at Tokyo Big Sight. This highly anticipated event will include the active participation of several Spanish companies.

This is the inaugural year for TNT Japan, which will gather together many international companies, following numerous TNT events in Europe. It will take place at the same time as ‘nano tech 2014’, which has become the world’s most important conference event in the Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies (N&N) sector.

This is the seventh year in a row that ‘nano tech’ has included a Spanish pavilion, organized by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (Instituto de Comercio Exterior, or ICEX), the Phantoms Foundation (Spain/European Union) and the International Center for Materials Nanoarchitectronics. Also collaborating is Spain’s Economic and Commercial Office in Tokyo. The pavilion will be a showcase for Spanish initiatives in nanotechnology.

Presentations will be related to nanotechnology research and forums will present the latest technologies and research findings.

This synergy will be a catalyst for companies, universities and research centers to promote technical cooperation in nanotechnology. It will also help to connect companies with top researchers, in order to share common goals and use their know-how to drive nanotechnology sales. Further, as part of the celebration of Spain and Japan’s ‘Dual Year’, to commemorate 400 years of cultural exchanges between the two countries, a conference will be held in order to promote mutual understanding between the two countries and open new horizons in their bilateral relations.
