The Spanish company Zentyal will offer the world’s first alternative to ‘Microsoft Exchange’ for small business. The product is easy to integrate and interoperable, as well as much more economical.
The Radicati consulting group estimates that over the next five years there will be more than one hundred million new non-cloud Microsoft Exchange users. Zentyal has therefore developed an alternative to Microsoft for small business that is easy to integrate and interoperable, as well as much cheaper. The company’s product promises savings of between 50% and 85%.
The company’s Service Pack 1 update for its Commercial Editions of Zentyal Server lets businesses migrate from their Microsoft Exchange servers to Zentyal servers seamlessly, with absolutely no service interruption or other downtime. Microsoft Outlook users aren’t able to detect any difference between the two servers.
This Microsoft Exchange alternative represents an opportunity for businesses given that it offers a hybrid model, guaranteeing users control over technology without the obligation to adopt a pure cloud service. As a result companies can decide which option best suits their needs.
The key for this Spanish company’s future growth is reaching partnership agreements with authorized service providers.
