The Spanish multinational has developed an innovative application for Android tablets and iPads that helps older people and Alzheimer’s sufferers preserve their memories.

Indra has recently launched My Memories, an application for Android and Apple tablets that helps older people and Alzheimer’s sufferers to preserve their memories. The tool’s main contribution is to help users associate images, videos, texts and music with the people they are closest to—such as family members, friends and caretakers—as well as to places that might be linked to important experiences in their lives.

The company highlights that the application is easy to use. The welcome screen displays random content such as a person, place or memory, which is linked to the corresponding memory section. It also includes brief notes that help users to remember daily events.

Importantly the application also helps to locate people who are, or could be, lost. The I’m Lost service sends a text message to a predetermined contact person’s smartphone when the user is lost, so that someone can be sent to retrieve them.
