The Mobile Startup Competition held in Barcelona chose the three most outstanding and original startups from among those entering the contest in 2014. One of them was Spain’s Infantium, which won second place. The company has developed a platform for personalized learning where every child can benefit from cognitive technology, the analysis of big data and neurosciences. According to the company’s founders the application will be available in April on mobile devices served by Telefónica.

Infantium uses big data in order to personalize digital content for every child, whether in the form of apps, e-books or other media. The platform responds in real time to each user’s cognitive weaknesses and strengths, recommending the best content in order to provide the most productive learning experience.
