The system, created by Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas, reaches velocities of up to 1,000,000 images per second, depending on the configuration of the cameras.
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has launched Multimotion, a new high velocity camera system that was designed in-house by the company, and which can reach velocities of up to 1,000,000 images per second. This modular system can be adapted to the specific needs of each client with configurations of up to four cameras, thus multiplying the velocities in one single image. The system can be used in two ways: ultraspeed (with velocities of up to 1,000,000 images per second) and panoramic (resolution of up to 4,200×1,000 pixels)*.
Multimotion was conceived to be compatible with numerous camera brands, which in turn can be synchronized with external devices and transfer data via Ethernet. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas’ system is specially designed for test laboratories, ballistics verification applications (transitory or intermediate, external, terminal), munitions and weapons certification, and forensic ballistics. Impact testing, which permits testing the resistance of armor (vests, helmets, vehicles, etc.), recoil analysis, and even laboratory crash testing of passive safety are some of Multimotion’s uses.
Thanks to this commitment to innovative technology, Aries has completed dozens of projects for clients in over 30 countries. These include such competitive markets as the United States and China, where it is now working on projects in the fields of renewable energies and testing systems for passive safety.
