Ideateca, a company based in Bilbao that specializes in the development of content for mobile phones, has managed to place its i-Basket game among the “top 10” downloads in over 50 countries, and among the “top 3” in such demanding markets as China, Japan, India, the United Kingdom and another 15 countries. It has even surpassed the game ‘FarmVille’ from the multinational Zynga, one of the best known among users worldwide.

Thanks to i-Basket, Ideateca has become the most successful Spanish company in the Apple Store: one million people have installed this game, which was completely developed by the team from Ideateca, in less than one month. Counties that have played the most i-Basket are, in order of use: USA, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Canada, France, Spain and China.

In addition to i-Basket, Ideateca has developed other games and applications such as the first game for Mus on Facebook and mobile phones, called simply “Mus”, or “4 in a row”, the traditional game of four in a row applied as well to the well-known social network. In the field of applications “FileSocial” is noteworthy; this allows users to share files on Twitter.

The company is currently developing new games, to be used on the social network Facebook, mobile phone platforms or Microsoft’s game console Xbox.
