Date of constitution: 2005 Technical information and/or Services: >> ESADECREAPOLIS is a pioneering project in which an internationally prestigious business school, ESADE Business School, leads an innovation and creativity park. Around a hundred multi-sectoral, multi-cultural and multisized companies have come together to share their experience and knowledge at this park. >> ESADECREAPOLIS’s mission is to increase the profitability of innovation and reduce its time-to-market. To do this, we focus on Open & Cross Innovation. >> Open Innovation enables companies and the sector in which they operate to benefit from outside knowledge, and Cross Innovation is the result of crossing over projects and experience between two or more companies. >> To maximise the effectiveness of both Open and Cross Innovation, we have created the post of multidisciplinary expert – a knowledge facilitator enabling resident companies to innovate around a specific area of knowledge – and the post of innovation architect – responsible for looking for crossover projects from among ESADECREAPOLIS resident companies. >> This is complemented by our innovation services: the ESADECREAPOLIS Innovation Team accompanies residents throughout the entire innovation process. When a resident company first comes to ESADECREAPOLIS, the team arranges a diagnostic meeting to assess their needs. From here on, residents can also join in on ESADECREAPOLIS’ Exploration activities, where they can work on current trends and apply them to specific business opportunities. Creative workshops, lectures, conferences and communities of interest are organised within these activities, and residents can also make use of the various trend watchdogs that have already been set up. Once a specific project has been identified, whether or not this comes through Exploration, a filter is applied and the projects enter the Implementation phase. A constant project accompaniment service and mentoring are provided in this phase. In addition, ESADECREAPOLIS offers support services in intellectual property, personnel, market testing and business plan development, legal support as well as assistance in securing financing. These services are complemented by additional services and activities geared around creating and revitalising the community – essential for Open & Cross Innovation – and training in specific skills that are crucial to innovation.

>> The ESADECREAPOLIS Campus consists of ESADE Business School, the ESADECREAPOLIS Centre for Open & Cross Innovation and the Residence Club, which, over and above offering accommodation (over 80 rooms), is an additional platform that participants can take advantage of to meet up, relax and build relationships.
