The Spanish company has successfully completed final testing for the new version of pSpark®, its DNA cloning system. This technology makes it easier for researchers to clone DNA faster and more simply.

The company’s newest version of pSpark® is already available for purchase. Canvax Biotech has received a number of proposals for its distribution and it’s very likely that within a few months it will be available in the United States, India and Japan.

The first version of the product was developed in 2011 at the R&D laboratories of Canvax Biotech, a company specializing in cloning and gene expression. This innovative technology is a blunt DNA cloning vector based on PCR with a proofreading polymerase and any primer, ligation with T4 DNA ligase and transformation into E. coli.

Canvax Biotech is a biotech company that manufactures molecular biology products. One of its major investors is INSSEC 2, which is part of one of Spain’s major industrial holding companies.
