Spanish technology services startup CleverTask has joined forces with the company NetIQ from the United States, which specializes in IT security solutions. Together they will develop and sell software under license from NetIQ.

Under this agreement, CleverTask will become a technological partner with NetIQ and, at the same time, allow the US multinational to expand its business in Europe. NetIQ is part of the Attachmate group, which includes brands such as Novell and SUSE Linux Enterprise.

CleverTask focuses its business strategy in two main areas: resource outsourcing, whereby the company provides highly specialized technology consultants to clients in support of internal IT projects, and offering ad hoc services and technological processes as a function of customer needs.

The Spanish company is an expert in security, infrastructure and systems projects, integrating diverse technology platforms, cloud solutions and corporate mobility. Today, 30% of the company’s sales are from outside of Spain and it reinvests 20% of sales in R&D.
