The Spanish company has developed a cloud-based IT platform which adapts to any healthcare center’s needs as they evolve on a day-to-day basis, and helps to efficiently manage resources.

Ibermática has reached an agreement with the Matia Foundation in order to sell their SIGeCA application (Healthcare Center Management System), which they jointly developed over the past several years. This pioneering system was designed with cutting edge technology and in collaboration with a broad cross section of healthcare professionals. Based on cloud computing, the solution adapts to the needs of healthcare centers as they arise on a day-to-day basis and efficiently manages their resources.

SIGeCA is a modular system whose components can be used independently from a basic core of data. It adapts to the size of each center and the services they offer, and works under the master data premise among the different modules. The system can manage multiple centers or multiple entities, and thus integrate an unlimited number of operational units.

In addition, it gives users access to unified patient histories, which combine medical data on individual patients while keeping the information confidential. Further, the system can be formatted and configured so that the application responds to the needs and requirements of each user. It is available in various languages and lets healthcare professionals manage resources from the standpoint of operational results, functional units, personnel or system-wide.

Cloud computing makes it easier to control variable costs. As a result, a healthcare system that is growing and adding more users or functional units can incorporate these additions immediately, increasing system capacity in order to accommodate more patients. The application can also integrate other software platforms.
