The TRedess group is a leader in professional telecommunications solutions. The company exports its products to 25 countries and you can even find its equipment on an atoll in the middle of Polynesia.
TRedess has two business lines. One is focused on broadcasting for television, including the design, development and manufacture of solutions that extend coverage of digital television for television broadcasting networks.
Its second business line specializes in designing, developing and marketing security and video surveillance systems. Among TRedess’ many patents is one for watermarking. This software adds a watermark to the video taken by security cameras that is invisible to the user. It serves as a guaranty of authenticity for the images in case the police require it to investigate a robbery or other crime.
One of the company’s greatest milestones was an agreement reached in France, under which TRedess will be the low power network supplier to the country’s largest DTT operator. As a result it provided over 7,500 transmission units to bring digital terrestrial television (DTT) to the homes of millions of people in metropolitan France, French domains and overseas territories.
Along with other major companies TRedess is participating in the MIIAS project (Integrated Mobility and Smart Environmental Impact). This program consists of designing and developing a mobility platform for both people and vehicles in order to help solve parking problems. The proposed solution is to install sensors that identify when a vehicle is present, video cameras with detection algorithms, terminals for end users and secure communications between all elements of the platform. Also participating are Abertis Telecom, Circontrol and Parkare.
