The Spanish firm has been invited to join the Global Accelerator Network, which allows the world’s top accelerators to share technological services.

GAN is an accelerator network for tech startups which can only be joined by invitation. It was created in 2010 by the founders of TechStars, one of the largest accelerators in the United States, in order to join together and support the best technology startups around the world.

This network is comprised of over 1,350 companies and 50 member accelerators which have raised an average of $701,000 per company from venture capital investors.

Now TechStars has opened its doors to Spain’s Top Seeds Lab which will travel to the US and, during one month, have the opportunity to meet with US entrepreneurs and investors interested in investing in projects overseas. Top Seeds Lab was founded in Madrid two years ago and offers financing to its startup members (€20,000 of liquidity and a package of free technology services in exchange for between 10% and 15% of a company’s capital).

The alliance with GAN will let some of its participants have access to an expanded package of technology services worth $500,000, as well as to a vast number of highly experienced international mentors.
