This Spanish technology research center has created R3ALD, the first online platform for 3D printing services that targets industrial users.
The R3ALD system includes a variety of 3D printers that can work with different types of materials. It allows clients to order manufactured components over the internet just by sending a file, and always with strict confidentiality. These items can be built out of metal, plastic, resin or plaster and with numerous finishes: painted, tinted or metallic.
R3ALD promises clients very short delivery times as well as compliance with the requirements that any sector might need: industrial, capital equipment, aeronautics, automobiles, die casting, energy, healthcare or implantology. The platform also has a very intuitive online pricing system and enables customers to track and monitor their orders.
R3ALD’s target clients are engineering and R&D departments, designers, entrepreneurs and architects. In general, anyone who needs to manufacture a component from a 3D file could use the company’s services, whether to validate a design or to use the component as a finished product.
Technology research center Prodintec boasts Spain’s largest collection of additive manufacturing equipment by number, capacity and range of materials. It also works in additive manufacturing design and in post-production processing, thus covering the entire value-added chain necessary in order to industrialize this technology.
