Spanish packaging provides great benefits for supply chains and also helps to cut costs and reduce turnaround times.

Industry, mass marketing organizations and the distribution sector have much room for improvement when it comes to managing across their entire supply chains, including the processes of product returns. In this new challenge packaging has become a prime tool. Capsa and Inprous are two Spanish companies that have been able to revolutionize logistics for their clients, offering sustainable packaging solutions.

Capsa has launched its patented ‘2in1 Plus’ packaging product, which provides customers with advances in terms of handling, environmental friendliness and safety. The box itself is very strong and without peer in the market, manufactured from 100% recyclable cardboard with a double closure system that facilitates preparing orders, transportation and reuse. The box can be put together automatically and very quickly, thus reducing handling times and costs at the assembly location. Content is more safely stored and shipped thanks to exterior flaps, reinforced sides and a double bottom. It can be used for industrial packaging, internal product movement, product returns, e-commerce, moving or storage.

Recently, Capsa’s 2in1 Plus container received a Líderpack award from the Hispack trade fair and Graphispack Association in recognition of the year’s best packaging innovations.

Inprous was founded in 2011. The company specializes in packaging solutions that maintain the temperatures of refrigerated products for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The firm’s clients include laboratories, veterinary clinics, hospitals, emergency services and pharmacy offices.

One of Inprous’ newest product lines is Orca 2.0, an isothermal packaging system that guarantees a constant temperature of between 2-8ºC for 100 hours, regardless of the time of year or weather conditions. This packaging does not have to be transported in a refrigerated vehicle and can be shipped in standard trucks.
